What’s included
Right now, you can enjoy an Expressions session for FREE. All that we ask is that you consider making a small donation to St Cuthbert’s Hospice, who are our chosen charity. We will leave the optional amount up to you but I would suggest £5-10
Your booking includes:

A 45-minute photography session in our Chester-le-Street studio

A beautifully framed 8” desktop portrait (worth £85)

A private cinematic viewing appointment to see your child’s portraits and choose your favourites
There’s no obligation to purchase more than your included portrait, though many families fall in love with the images and choose to invest in additional wall art, prints, or digital collections. But you do need to attend your viewing appointment to claim your complimentary portrait.
How it works
Step 1: Book your session
Secure your Expressions session by selecting an appointment below. If you fail to attend your appointment you will not be able to book another one. We reserve the right to cancel any booking.
Step 2: Your photoshoot
Come along to our studio for your 45-minute session. We’ll create a relaxed atmosphere and gently encourage natural smiles, laughs, and a range of expressions.
Step 3: Viewing appointment
Within two weeks, return for your cinematic viewing. This is where you’ll see all your edited portraits and decide which ones you’d like as prints, wall art, or digital images.
Step 4: Collect your artwork
Your chosen portraits are carefully produced to the highest standard. Prints and products are usually ready within a few weeks.
Common questions
What if my child is shy or doesn’t want to sit still?
That’s no problem — we work at your child’s pace. With years of experience photographing children, we know how to capture natural moments even when little ones are restless.
Can siblings be photographed together?
Expressions sessions are designed for one child at a time. If you’d like portraits of siblings together we would suggest booking a standard family portrait.
What happens if my child is unwell?
If your child is poorly on the day, simply get in touch. We’ll do our best to reschedule your session, subject to availability.
Do I have to buy anything beyond the framed portrait?
No, you are welcome to take the complimentary portrait. Many families do choose to purchase additional images or products, but there’s absolutely no pressure.
