You can generally fit a family of five in the box, and furry family members are welcome too.

Plan your look
Pretty much anything goes. We’ve had everyday clothes, Jedis, martial arts, dancers, footballers and onesies. Bring along the things that make you, you.

Your photoshoot
A fun, relaxed session that lasts no more than an hour, so nobody gets tired.

Your viewing
A week or so later, come back to see your images and choose your favourites. There’s no rush if you need time to think.

Your questions
Who can take part?
Everyone. You’re literally in a box, so if your family is bigger than five we may not fit you all into one shot, but with this style of session that isn’t always a problem. It works best when children can sit independently and take a little direction.
Can we bring our pets?
Furry family members are welcome. Just consider whether a studio with flashing lights is a good place for your pet. You know them best.
What should we wear and bring?
Pretty much anything goes. Wear outfits that show off your family’s personality, and bring the things that matter to you: a football, a skateboard, a favourite teddy or toy. One mum brought her favourite bottle of wine and a glass, and it made the picture.
How long does it last?
A White Box photoshoot lasts no more than an hour. Your viewing takes place a week or so later and lasts a similar time.
